My name is Glenn Jackson and Iíve been drawing in one form or another since I was very small. I live about 20 miles outside of London, which is where I get most of my work.

I do a mixture of illustrative and design work for various clients. My style has to be as diverse as possible, sometimes a client needs an illustration which could be manga in style, and sometimes I have to adapt a more serious approach. Most of my personal work can be seen on my website (tokyocrows ), which is my preferred style.

Iíve been involved in art since I was a child; I also have qualifications in art and design. Going to college is a very good idea as not only does it broaden your horizons it also puts you into contact with like-minded people.

I have always been into visual arts from a very young age. This could range from film effects to video games to manga and more traditional art.

I use both ProMarkers and Tria Markers, and the Letraset bleed proof marker pads for my illustrations. I had a full range of Letraset stuff when I first started college, I still have these today. The markers specifically are great for manga style artwork because you can achieve a very flat shading style, which suits this type of artwork perfectly. I use Letraset art materials for their reliability mainly, the nibs are strong and reliable and ink flow is excellent.
